I was going to get the SS 65 for my new 54 gal tank. Just read that ASM were way better! So should I get the ASM G mini (up to 75 gals $ 109) or the ss 65 ( up to 65 gals at $ 85)??????

Some people on here say carbon only works for 3 to 5 days, is this true? I was thinking of running it for 2 weeks and then without for the next two weeks (each month). Should this work good? Or would it be better to run it for every other week?

How long should I run carbon in my AquaClear filter at a time, per month?

Let me know if you want to sell the Lifereef box? If you use the under tank sump, you can put heater, skimmer, ect in it and only have the Overflow box in the tank, which if you dont then you have all that stuff in the display tank, which looks even worse!

What is the Best submersible return pump with 700 to 900 gph under $100???

Does anyone know if this is a good pump to go with? Was going to get the mag 7 but people say its runs hot, has 80w and no suction cups. The Hydor Seltz has 47w a FLOW CONTROL and comes with a suction cups. What is the Best/low heat pump brand on the market today under $100 for 700gph to 900...

Is there any type of powerhead add-on or powerhead that is self-rotating to make the water come from different directions, thats not too big and is worth getting?

I'm building a sump. How do you control the water level in it? If you take some water out, doesent it syphon it back into the same level?

Sounds good. Are the reflector made by Current? I saw some new t5 single Parabolic reflector by Ice Cap that clip directly onto the lamp. Do you think they will fit on the Nova? Let us know if you try any of them!

What brand pump would be better then a Mag 7? Heard they get hot and are not the best out there.
