    help please

I would agree, plus leave your lights off when doing so with any thing you introduce. It helps with the stress, and also if you have any aggressive fish this will also help.

    fish additions, suggestions?

hi, I just read your message about the tang eating your inverts. I have a 75gal with 4 differnt tangs, yellow, sailfin, kole, naso. hippo, along with assortment of others. My tank is filled with inverts and none of the tangs have touched them. Tangs do require a large amount of seaweed a day. I...

4 week old 75g, ?'s about next step

Hi, one thing u may want to look into is dead rock. The rock is dead. It'smuch cheeper and works great at the bottom layer of rock, after your tank becomes established the dead rock will convert over to live rock, it's pretty cool stuff.

    Cheto ?

My first question is, are you talking about nitrites or nitrates. They are very different. If your lr was not fully curred and placed in your tank, anything dying off from the rock will cause your levels to go way up. Nitrates are the end result of the cycle and are caused by detris . With no...

    Base Rock?? And Cycling??

I saw that someone wrote about the tap water. When we first started we found out that our city water tested high for ammonia also. We kept testing our tank water it was never getting better, then we decided to test the tap water one day, what a shock when we found that.

    One Year Anniversary Photos!

one of the hardest lessons learned is GO SLOW. The other was when we set up the tank. we wanted to view it from both sides, that made rock location a little more challanging.
