    More Fish For Me Tank

Let me know how the chromis do - the last time I tried to start a shoal of these guys I went through about 20 in QT, got two to survive, one of which has only one eye left. But they do make a small (home)school in the display.

    New tank!

Oh yeah, the egg-crate prevents those jumbers (wrasse, dartfish, gobies, etc.) from carpet surfing.

    how to wake him up?

Congratulations on your coris - they are beautiful as juveniles, and simply gorgeous as adults. However, they are not without their problems, fishkeeping-wise. First off, a 50 gallon system is too small (IMHO) for this animal, who can grow to 5-8 inches in captivity. Also, be sure that your...

    TANG IN A BIOCUBE

If you add a dwarf lion to that stock lis you will have either all dead fish from fish waste (even dwarf lions produce prodigious amounts of waste, or a lonely overfed dwarf lion who has thoroughly enjoyed eating a chromis, a clownfish adn possibly your cleaner shrimp as well.

Putting a pygmy Angelfish and a White Tail Bristletooth Tang or yellow tang in the same tank or what type of Tang would be good in a 75 gallon

No, most tangs in a 75 gallon system will provoke a visit from the tang police. Tangs are generally open ocean swimmers who need a long tank (6 feet long...

Keeping new fish in a Quaratine tank

How large is the qt? A larger tank would need fewer changes. If ammonium begins to show up begin 10-20% changes immediately. You don't need to clean the qt - it should self police. It sounds like your qt is set up well for a bicolor. They like to graze, so feed small amounts several times/day...

keeping green chromises with a Bicolor Angel

Should be fine, especially if the chromis' are in a shoal of an odd number of fish.

    one spot fox.

Nori is just dried seaweed pressed into flat sheets. You can get it at your lfs, or at many grocery stores. If you get it at a grovery, be sure it is unseasoned (sometimes salt is added to improve the taste for human beings). Your foxface will love it.

    Mixing chromises with a damselfish

That's just damsels doing what damsels do. You might as well try to change the weather. The usual advice to change the rockwork won't usually help in this case becasue the damsels aren't defending a territory, they are defending the universe, so they are just on the attack. My advice - sell...

Putting a pygmy Angelfish and a White Tail Bristletooth Tang or yellow tang in the same tank or what type of Tang would be good in a 75 gallon

A white tail bristletooth should be fine in your tank as the only tang (they don't play well with other tangs),

    Preparing Water for Water Changes

Wow! I'm not surprised that you are confused - so much incorrect information would confuse Einstein. First - get a source of RODI and fill the mixing container. Put a heater in and begin to warm the water to tank temperature. Put in a power head for circulation, then add your salt mix until you...

Found, but I'm only a little happy!

Thanks. 40 years in the hobby, and I can still learn something new here! However, last night (before I saw the video) I armed myself with a small net taped to a long pole, a miner's headlamp and after lots of equipment disconnecting and moving, I made my move to capture the fish. It took about...

    Brown Dust

It could be diatoms. How old is your tank? What kind of water (tap? RODI? char-filtered?) do you use to prepare salt mix and top-off evaporation?

Found, but I'm only a little happy!

We added a seagrass wrasse two months ago, and about 2-3 weeks ago it failed to emerge from the sand, so we assumed it was decaying somewhere under the substrate. Two days ago we added a yellowfin flasher wrasse (we love wrasses), and it disappeared quickly, and hasn't been seen since. I was...
