i dont have any fragging pics..they have a hard skeleton..but you should be able to cut through them. I usually use a dremal under the rock they are on and cut all the way till I get to the flech..then just take a flat head screwdriver put it in the groove and twist..snaps apart at the cut and...

dermel, knife, anything you can cut through the rock its on..Acans are hard to mess up..I had a piece of acan that start to grow on the rocks..when i pulled it off it left behind some tissue like 1mm in size..well that 1mm of flesh is now a full head the size of a dime.

yes it will kill it..they are not made to run like that..there are new ones they made that are designed to be able to turn on and off on wavemakers and such.

if you have holes in the side of the canopy and some slots in the top..with a few fans inside to blow the hot air out I think it should be fine

well..2 icecap ballast..they will power 4bulbs each each ballast is about $110 Then you will need reflectors..I would suggest the Aquatinics, Ice cap or TEK ones..they are about 15-18bucks each then the bulbs are 19 each your looking at about $560 now if you wanna just go metal halide.
