So I am thinking of upgrading the PC lights in my 12g nano, but the +24 or if I really try +48watts of PC lighting really wont help me out if I want to raise frog spawn and hammers will it? That's my question... It seems like palys get bigger and have nuts coloration, but what is the difference (if there is one).

Do sun corals need andvanced lighting to survive or could I have one in my low light tank since you feed to MEAT!??

I think you should leave the halides uncovered. If they are 8" off the water there is no way it will splash onto it. Whats the point of having halides if your just going to kill the light with glass, then 8" then another 15" of water. I might be wrong I don't really know but I think 8" is fine...

Updates! I went to a frag workshop and for 4 assorted frags for $20 I got a brain, sps, pipeorgan and a nice zoo rock. The lps and sps will be going in my friends tank once it is established, I also am housing 4 of his frags for him. I also bought a pair of true percs too! Enjoy!
