I wouldn't use them in a tank under 90 gal. they make alot of flow. too much flow for me, I tried them in my 90gal. with fine sand and soft corals, It was terrible.I went back to powerheads.

If you have sps coral and course sand, than yes. if you have mostly softies and fine sand, than no. What's wrong with your flow now?

do a search on aptasia on this site. you will find lots of info. I used a copperband butterfly to get rid of my problem.

You can buy pods online. do a search for live pods. they also sell refugium start up kits. or if you know someone with a an established refugium, you can seed your refugium with some cheato. or live rock from their refugium.

I just got one, about 4'', 2 months ago for the same reason but won't touch the aptasia. he only eats mysis shrimp. oh well, it's a cool looking fish.

some black or blue paint would look on the back.

Why no paint on the back?it would really bring out the colors of your tank.
