i look at my tank for hours until my girlfriend begins to throw things at me because she is so mad. but i do blink while watching the fish swim around.
and the fun part will be one day the bones will be weakened so much that the femur will come crashing down onto the tibia and fibula and destroy the knee cap. and at that point all that can be done is a complete knee replacement.
i have been told that you can easily get a par reading of 350 at the sand bed of a 125 gallon tank that is 22" tall using 6 80 T5 bulbs. and I'm going with 7 bulbs.
but i guess I'm just not a metal halide guy.
i wish mine was as easy to fix as a fracture. my problem is that neither knee and my left hip have 0 cartilage. so slowly the bones are grinding themselves to dust.
i had great fun playing football.
after my left leg finally gave out beginning of Sr year i replaced my hobby of football with fish keeping. it seems to much safer so far.
i got a thing in the mail saying i could get between $10,000 and $15,000 for enlisting and $30,000 a year. and i was thinking that looked good to be, but they said my body was just to beat up from high school football.
i did lie about my medical issues. it only took the physical from them to tell there was something wrong,
when my knees had less than half the normal knee bend.
my left hip with half as much bend as the right hip.
they didn't know about my back and concussions until they got my medical records
i know this is a little off topic but after high school when i tried to sign up for the Army i got denied.
they didn't want some one who was 18 years old with basically no knee's a vary bad left hip. history of broken spine and major concussion from football.
and i really wanted that signing bonus
