    Exotic meats ...

I've had a couple, some probably aren't really exotic, just stuff you don't eat everyday. I love buffalo, it is so lean and tender. Alligator isn't bad. Shark is ok. Elk is really good. So is deer. Not a huge fan of quail. And I know its blasphamey but I love raw tuna and raw scallops

    Help Question

Nope, a hex tank will hold saltwater just the same as it holds freshwater. If someone in a store is trying to tell you different I would be leary of buying from them. Just my two cents..

    Mission Impossible

Yea, I think tonight I am going to rearrange all my rock work. Which is going to be a task. Hopefully that will help some and then i'm going to put the clown in a breeder net for a day or two and let him heal up. Its so wierd though, the clown always bullied the six line until yesterday because...

    low lighting

Deep Sea Yellow Gorgonian , or really any gorgonian would add some nice color. I know the yellow doesn't need light though, just feeding. Chili corals (would be a nice red) also don't need light. As well as sun corals need light either. Just a couple quick ones. I'm sure somebody knows some more...

    Help Need Advice

I would move the rock over first and position it how you would like it. Then catch your fish and put them in a seperate container with some water from the old tank. Then I would move the sand over next trying too keep the dust cloud to a minimum. Then move all the equipment and get that running...

I want to raise CBS, Help Me To. Please

Unfortunatly from what I have read breeding shrimp tends to be very difficult and most often the babies end up just being a nice snack for your fish. https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/t/269786/2-questions-maybe-someone-can-answer That is a link to a thread when this question came up before that...

    Mission Impossible

So I definatly jinxed myself yesterday talking on a thread about how sixline wrasses can be aggressive after a while. I'm so mad, last night I was feeding my fish and noticed that my favorite maroon clownfish was looking all beat up. His fins were pretty much in tatters I was so sad( I've had...

    Critique my stocking list, please

Yea, with any angelfish if you are going to keep corals/have a reef you just have to watch and make sure it doesn't start to nip at them. Its a shame to come home and seea $20 fish had a $500 lunch while you were at work

    Supplements for Emerald Crabs?

The Blue legs will stay small. I know this web site has them listed as a bold temperment. In my experience though mine have been semi aggressive. I might have just gotten all the 'bullies' of the blue leg hermit world

    Supplements for Emerald Crabs?

I still have three of the four emeralds I put in my tank around 6 months ago. Watch your blue leg hermit crabs to see if they are the culprits. I used to have scarlet hermit crabs in my tank until my blue leg hermits decided they didn't like them.

    Supplements for Emerald Crabs?

My crabs always love it if I can get something meaty to sink down to the bottom of the tank for them to feed on. I usually never put food in the tank though specifically for them, they just get what my fish can't eat before it sinks.

However I am going to miss a really good episode of the NFL next week. Green Bay @ Dallas since the majority of cable companies don't have NFL network. But thats a completely different can of worms

    Question for Colorado Tank Keepers

I don't live in Coloroda, but my evaporation loss per day did go down a lot when I built a canopy for my tank that covers all but the front 3 inches of the tank.

    working today?

Sadly its probably good that i'm working today. Easy money. Else I would have sat at home and did a whole lot of nothing and made no money. Or gone out and spent money.
