buy an RO unit to remove phosphates and any other unwanted problems. but it will be your phos that has made your KT plasterd

imo if your new to keeping swt i would not keep a sea horse. at least get over 1 year experiance then if your still into the hobby/horses then try it out. remember know thy tank.

i use a FX5 and a 305Fluval. but my tank is 210gal go for the Fluval FX5 imo just dont use the filter media for any of any filters.

i'm thinking lights too.... also remember lights are more bright/lighter/stronger power in the first few months and then tend to lose power slightly... and thats where it's possibly gone wrong.

place to how you like. method i use is cable ties. tie two rocks by using holes in the rock i know a few people use cable ties and an egg crate. glue would be difficult as youll want to keep all the good bacteria damp untill you get home then place in the tank. just my two pennies on this
