are you sure it comes off? My Aquapod was a first generation and their hoods are not removable (unless you break it off). I could not find replacement hoods for bio cubes, hat's why I recently got the nano cube.

woohoo!! I should be getting mine soon too! I just emptied out as much of my coral, snail & crabs as would fit in my 6 gal. I was actually surprised at how much fit. Can't wait for pics.

I don't even know what filter floss is. I read a lot about the different ways people do their chambers, but this is all I've had for 3 years and it has worked good for me. Of course I guess it could always be better.
