yea that would be the next thing. but by either pulling out some cheato and shaking them out or pulling a small piece of LR out of the DT in to the BT and moving them weekly might get enough to feed the mandrians. anybody see any problems with the planned set-up?

is there any way of stopping them? like adding some more water? how large are they? i get some that are like 1/8" sometimes and im not really to worried. i get alot of them when my water is low

yea i really thought about it. but for about the same price i have have a spare tank that grows them and i get 2 uses out of them. one for me and one for my dad(mainly the whole reason im trying to grow them) plus he will pay for the stuff to make the tank and not my new filter()

umm i think just light. mine grows really well with just a 6,500k bulb. i have mine in my tank cuz my fuge is acting up(leaking). but its doing really well with the light. some ppl also use a LED light from the Docs.

when my water temp was higher i noticed that it grew a bit faster then when it was at 78. i kept it at like 82 and she grew like crazy. but that how it worked in my tank. not sure if thats how it is everywhere.
