from what I think most people would go with 1 MH bulb per 2 feet of tank, and the Watts depends and the hight of the tank and what you whant to keep. how deep is your tank? if you want to keep clams I would go with 3x 250W 10-14K and 4 x 110 VHO super blues. well that is what I going to do on my...

Can some one school me on MH reflectors. To use or not to use. Most tanks in my area don’t seam to use them. What to do folks think about them? Are they worth the money? :notsure:

yea I don't have clams mostly softies and a couple SPS which I was going to put high in the tank if I went with the 175 WMH. + I am worried that the 250W will heat the tank to much...no AC in my house in the summer :( so I thinking I might have to go with the 175W.....

I will be lighting a 240 GAl Reef 96"x 24"x 24"right now I have jebo 2x175W 20K MH w act. blue ( two units 20"each) on my 90 gal. with is 48"x 24x 18 and they are going a good job. I was thinking about getting two more inits...so that would be a total of 4 x175 W MH pros. cheaper comes with...

I have mine (two ballast) on both sides of my aquarium...I move them with I am working on the tank so ho h20 gets on them....

What brand of salt are you using?

The first one is an SPS for sure. Just don't know what kind. The polyps are a bright green the picture really doesn't do it justice. As far as light they are under 2x175W MH.

ok I am trying to decide one what K of MH bulb to get for my tank. can any one post pics of there aquarium with MH lights. plase tell me what the K on the bulb is and pro and cons of the K. also what Watts of Atc. if any u are using. thanks

I have the 2005 model jebo 175W HQI MH set up......and as people have stated they only come with 1 cord...not that big of deal the leg are better that the one on the PC also have a 48" PC too! on the MH there are metal also the unit comes with a hanging kit for those of you that are concerened...
