One more question....(sorry) Do you think I can keep my current lighting system (I love the blue colors) and simply add a Metal Halide light to the tank?

I found a retrofit kit with four lights, but what type of bulbs do I choose? It would be useless to get the light kit with the wrong bulbs; right? Also do these kits mount to my cover? My current lighting system just sits on the glass covers to my tank and I have a wood cover over that in order...

I found the bulb boxes, they are a power glow and a marine glow bulb. The fixture is the regular fixture that housed the fluorescent bulbs. The boxes only say that they are 40w, Is that enough? I see people post 440w. I get very nice alge growth on my LR, please let me know. Thanks Vic

One of the bulbs is blue and the other white, both with 2 pins on each side. They are alot thicker than the regular fluorescent bulbs that came with the fixture. Thanks Vic

I also have 2 maroon clowns and I added a long-tentacle anemone a week ago, no luck hosting yet....but waiting patiently. The maroons are getting ready to lay eggs (there first fry), don't know if this delays the hosting process. I will keep you posted on the progress. Good Luck Vic

Wow, sounds like a lot of work for such a low survival rate. How do these fish breed in the wild? I thought there was a type of overhang I could put in the tank or set up a small tank just for them to grow. I am going to try to give this a shout tough, but don't know if I have enough time now...
