The aquac ev is a awesome skimmer I run one on my 46g. reef the ev120 and it is externally plumbed it pulls out about a gallon every 2-3 weeks and is run wet, it is sensitve to feeding though but I've ran it for a few months and I only adjusted it when I set it up and has been going fine since...

Not that I know Imo it was easy to care for just provide it with light and feed it krill every few days or something similar. The more you feed it the quicker it grew kinda like lps and it seemed to never be full it would eat and eat and eat! lol:D

Are you know what I would look into the ocean runner 2700 pump or 3700 by aqua medic they both have needle wheels and are a lot cheaper. I just read a thread on another board about some guy replacing his sedra on his euroreef with a ocean runner because the sedra broke and he didn't feel like...

Nice nano! I like how you set it up with just a skimmer instead one of those hot filters. Everything is looking good!:D Once you get cycled you good at a little 12'' hang on back refugium, look on ---- they are pretty cheap.

I'ved owned a cpr bakpak and remora I would never pay $160 or whatever for a remora. The bakpak performs just as good if not better then the remora and you can pick one up off ---- for about $70..:D

Looks like a cool project, also I would use a sedra pump on the skimmer because they are truely the heart of a ER skimmer.:D

Theres a 30g. long that is 36'' long any pretty short.:D
