    Seahorses

I am sure that he would enjoy watching a clownfish and some interesting inverts, like a cleaner shrimp. These will be more active and easier on you. Do you have other saltwater tanks?

    Seahorses

Unfortunately, I would not agree with putting a seahorse in a tank under 20 gallons at the minimum. Most of the species that would be practical and not on the difficult to care for list, would be too big for a 14 gallon....they should even outgrow a 20 gal. How old is your son? My own...

Does being a good person matter anymore?

I agree on karma, though I think of it a bit differently. I do know for a fact that what goes around, comes around. And to throw out yet another one, vengence in ANY form is not and should not, be mine. And I have found that usually the retribution this world deals out to folks is much worse...

    Property Issues/non-marital

Thank you TangMan99..I follow you and concur 100%, until we get to the exclusion of children in the will. If I am going to invest in real property, my children will benefit from that investment. While it is not his responsibility to provide an inheritance for my children, I won't be excluding...

    Property Issues/non-marital

Well, there are of course issues on both sides of the story that lead to this crossroad. None that can't be handled and none that would bring down a house of cards (no pun intended). Except for this issue, which is pretty big in my opinion. And none of those issues change the bottom line. Which...

What Do High Nitrates Really Do?

Our tanks are enclosed environments, and so cannot clean themselves the way the ocean obviously can. Nitrates will build up to the point of being toxic if regular water changes are not kept up. And water changes are a very healthy, neccessary way of controlling nitrates. If your tank is fully...

    New Sea Horse!!!

Girl, you're kidding me! I just left the other thread...perhaps the new horse is injured by intake? It makes it difficult to help when things are so scattered. IMHO, you might want to step back and get used to the armful of duties you have now.

    Skin diesease on sea horse?

Yes, Rykna, remove the new horse to the QT. Not just for a better look. You will need to treat this seahorse. You will need to search for the medications. I have no experience with this sort of problem. It was pointed out to me that the quote that Bronco offered is at least a couple of years...
