    Low Calcium

I did a water change a week ago and my calcium is still low. Its at 340. Do i need to buffer? I have Aragamilk i can add. It says to add one drop per gallon. Im seeing some coralline on my LR finally but i still have a fair amount of algae. Clean up is doing a decent job. Im about to add more...

    help quick!!

You have to start a siphon. Put a airline hose in the end where the water is going to flow into the overflow box and suck one end until you see the water start to come over the tank and pull the tube out.

Cyle is close to being done....I think!

I still have some bubbles. I wouldnt be concerned. I left it and i have no probs. If you stir the sand you could get a spike in nitrate.

Cyle is close to being done....I think!

Yea the tiny tiny white things. The bubbles are nitrogen gases being released as a result of the cycle.

    Reef package

If its all inverts then its ok to drip them in one bucket. If your doing fish and inverts then you need 2 seperate buckets.

I would say you should start seeing critters soon. As soon as my lights go out i turn them back on 10 mins later and i have pods everywhere. :joy:

Your cycle is pretty much done. Do a 20% water change to lower the trates more and wait a few days test again and if your trates are 10ppm or lower i would add a clean up crew to start eating some of that algae.

First Pic Of My New Saltwater Tank

Im sure your LFS has uncured available. Even if they say its "cured" you still should cure it just to be safe. But yea you can put the shrimp in with the "cured" LR. I suggest buying all the LR now and putting it in. Adding at a later time will require you to cure it in a seperate container with...
