Blackcap basslet acting very strange when goby cleans him

I wouldnt be suprised if that is how he shows the goby that he is ok to be cleaned. I had a cleaner goby for a while and he was cleaning a copperband and it would point his head down and look like he was swimming funny.

    DIY Sump

If you are going to use any live natural filters ie sponges than it should be in the first section. LR also. Then you will make the most of the mechanical filters to clean up what is left over. Also make sure you have alot of flow around the sponges, they are not so easy to keep but if the...

I just got a blue spiny LOBSTER

I purchased a blue spiny lobster about a month ago and he is out all the time. He even stole a clam from my snowflake eel the other day. He is usually hunting for food. In the few weeks that I have had him he has also already molted twice! The shell is very cool because it is much harder...

    16 Inck snow flaked Ell

I have had alot of success with clams on a half shell. They are not primarily fish eaters (look at their teeth) so it would not feed him fish. That way he doesnt consider the fish in your tank food. I also feed him krill and whole clams right soaked in nutrients. Good luck.

They can also get really big so their presence isnt as big a deal as...

Do you have a cleaning crew?(snails and hermi's that have cleaned the sand over the 4 years you have had it? If it isnt full of ditrius which your tank wouldnt survive very long if it was not 'cleaned' for four years than it would be a great addition to your new tank because you will get all...
