    They eat suspention feeders. Nutrients like phytoplankton, roto-rich,etc. if you what to keep it, and they are a good guys, feed it DT's for a while until your tank matures.

    Yes to the above. It's small size and high nutrition makes it particuarly useful when dealling with smallanimals. However, my larger fish also go after it with gusto.

    I have both, but freezer bar is probably better nutritionally. It's what I use unless I run out and can't get to the LFS right away. :jumping:

    It's definately good. It's a tunicate (sea squrit). They filter your water. Real good guys. wish I had a few.

    I have several pairs of goby/shrimp mutualists. Randell's shrimp seem to pair up with about any shrimp goby. I feed my gobys cyclop-ezee and mysis. Also spot feed the shrimps with squid or mysis every few days. One problem with shrimp gobys: they do not do to well with aggresive feeders...

    Also, they may change color or bleach when they sleep. I once had about 6 juvenile clowns that slept one on top of the other--apile ofclowns on their sides. The first time I saw this behaviour I thought they had all deis overnight.

    Most marine fish, if not all marine fish, sleep. They prefer a place where the current is not strong or very slow.

    Diamond Gobys Do Not Pair With Pistol Shrimp. Hi Fin Red Bars Do, So Do Orange Bars, And Yasha Haze Gobys.

    They are good scavengers though a spot feeding every few days would be good. I have four. Three are paired with praw gobys and one is on his own. Without a picture or more detail it's hard to tell if yours will pair with a goby if you got one. anyway they are fun to watch as they are forever...

    I have a bicolor blenny and 4 prawn gobys of different species. They get along with no problems in a 40 gal. breeder tank.

    Are refractometer's worth it?

    Stay away from Captive Purity Refractometers they have problems with the hinges on the lids. They break in a month or two and replacements are hard to find. Otherwise, a refractometer is the way to go.
