what about a dwarf lion or a lyretail anthias? I can pick up in brooklyn any time. very interested.

I had a trial run with this product when I was batteling hair algie. People swore by it, I used it in conjunction with another corralin product called p04 minus. my experience was they were allot of money for not such a great result. I think regular water changes does the trick better.

you really dont have to cook the rock unles you are keeping a bare bottom tank. if you are keeping a sand bottom the dsb will sink the nutrients. dont worry about. test the rock for copper, clean off cyano. place in your system. thats all there is to it.

ditto. if you are looking into wave makers there is no comparrison to the wave box. the issue is it is nitrusive to the system and takes up allot of room. but tunze is definately the best brand to go with. there is a thread on this board by druluv about his dissatisfaction with the wave 2k...

glue the back of the powerhead to a mag float and use the magnet to keep it to the side.

i think having a shark/ray tank plumbed into a reef tank wouuld be a potentially bad idea. reef animals are sensitive and sharks and rays are huge waste producers.

why dont people think uv's arent good in a reef? kills protozoans harmful to fish kills excess planketon to be skimmed off kills diatoms and dinoflagelates helps break down harmeful chemicals due to diffrent coral colonies in the same tank imo keep it i run a 36 w on my 125 and it is a blessing
