Peppermint shrimp randomly keep on dying!

I did lose one SPS frag to RTS (? not sure what the letters are?) but my clam is still doing great and the fish is fine.

Clown Goby Citron, SPS safe or not?

Ok I'm going to monitor it and if it shows any signs of stressing the corals too much then I'll remove it. But it's really a neat fish, nice coolers, and a cool lazy attitude that I love.

Peppermint shrimp randomly keep on dying!

Well two weeks ago I bought one peppermint shrimp and he decided to go in the back of the tank, and never returned. Never found him and nitrates didn't spike. Today I bought two peppermint shrimp and a Citron Clown Goby. Later that night while I was waiting for my new TV to auto-program, I...

    Mike's 10g Nano Thread

Ok two peppermint shrimp died randomly. Had to make rubber gloves out of plastic sandwich bags to get them out before my nitrates spiked. Had to also use that because I had to rearrange the rockwork to get to them and my rocks had (don't know about "have") bristtle worm. Now tank looks like...

Clown Goby Citron, SPS safe or not?

Ok Paintballer said there was a guy on -- that had a citron goby eat the polyps of his SPS colony causing it to die, I'll make sure I watch the goby if I add anything.

What happened to the History channel!!

I love the History Channel and history in general, their re-enactment sucks, but what do you expect? An R film like the Last Samuri or Braveheart or something?

    SPS randomly died

Ok then. I'm broke so I can't get any corals anytime soon, but soon enough I want to try some more SPS frags. I defentily don't want to spend any big money on any frags until I'm more certain about the tank though.

    do you believe in quarantine?

I don't have a QT tank set up, I have QTed fish in some small empty tanks. I QTed my Porcupine Puffer and I'm glad I did. It got velvet which could have crashed the tank, but I was able to sucessfuly treat it in QT with no problem.

Yeah I guess I'm going to leave as is for now. If I had the money I'd get two pumps and a 50g for a sump.
