    Jewelers rouge might work if the scratches aren't too deep. If you know someone that repairs auto windshields,they have a way of buffing minor scratches. It depends on how deep they are. Good Luck.

    You can add 1/2" every 2 weeks or so to build up the bed. You will lose about a 1/2" every year or so due to the sand desolving over time. A nice new 1/2" layer of Southdown brightens thing up too.

    I can't believe you said that. Just last night for the first time in over a year,my tiger cucumber was 3/4's of the way up the front glass. I have never seen him leave the sandbed. Maybe in the ocean there's a cucumber day,like groundhog day. My actinics were on so I don't think he saw his shadow.
