thats all there is to it my friend. I think that 99% of the peoiple that throw in the towel and give up on reef kepping fall for all the crap being sold today. some of it does work and does have it's place but most of it also was never needed in the first place. I guess it just goes to show...

JBJ K-2 Viper Deluxe 150W HQI Clamp on Lamp Lighting Fixture w/ 2 LEDs & Fan

ditto on the above. with the 150 you can keep anythimg you want. the only restriction i would say would be some of the most demanding sps coral but even then they will live but might not keep the best of color. most will do great in both color and growth. of course this all assumes proper water...

    Quick Light Question

perfect IMO. most soft and lps along with some moti and stags will do just fine. the monti may not grow super fast like it would with halides but it will live and keep nice color assuming proper water conditions are kept not until you want to get into some higher end sps and a few select higher...

Hey guys. Well I have been in the big tank side of the hobby for quite some time and a few months ago I decided to buy a few smaller tanks just so I could have reef tanks in a few other parts of the house. For my first tank I chose the biocube 29 gallon. Now I have always seen all sorts of crazy...

Biocube Mods, a must read post for all Nano-ers!

although they mods are good and will help some people they are not needed that for sure. like said above a stock tank can have great success if proper care is taken. i have a bone stock tank otehr then adding a few nano power heads in the back and i have NEVER had any sort of problem. most of...

    Are my zoas dying?

dont let them get brown. that brown is normlay a fungus or algae of some sort. keep them clean by blowing them off with a power head or even a very soft brushing will help alot. if left alone yes chances are most if not all will be lost.
