    whats wrong with my leather?

    hard to tell what caused that but to be sure it was nothing bad i would just take a razor and slice that section off clean. the leather wont mind much at all and in a few days it will perk back up with no problem.

    ditto on the above. check your flow becasue it normaly grows in dead spots and also check water condition to see what is causing it to grow in the first place.

    go to home depot and buy a product called aquamend. it is made to repair pools. It is over by the glue and stuff in the paint dept. it is the same stuff that many stores sell rebranded as coral putty. only cost around 5 bucks and works perfectly. been using it for years.

    i have not used any of those but IMO the only chiller i would ever purchase is an aqualogic. look them up. they have fair prices on ---- and can be found used for great prices as well. IMO the only way to get a better chiller is to build one yourself which for most people is not cost effective

    BioCube 29 gallon ballast 36watt

    hey all I have TWO(2) OEM ballast for the 29 gallon biocube. I upgarded to the 150 watt halide almost right away. these were used for about a week and are in perfect condition. these are from an 2008 biocube and can be used on any of the 36 watt pc bulbs. they seem to sell new for 30-40 bucks...

    you can ditch the light for a cooler one. no need for that sort of light on a fuge. if it was me i would not do anything. keep that temp steady and you should have no trouble. that is not to hot. I keep all of my tanks at 81-82 by choice
