I would assume the distilled water would have done that. You can also buy ro/di water at anywhere they sell water treatment systems

I never asssume pre cured live rock is cured. Best to be sure & do it yourself. I have no idea what that white stuff is though!

I pulled the air tubes to my powerheads. You do not need the bubbles. Anyways it makes the tank look less attractive IMO

What does everyone finish their canopys with? I'm worried about the salt creep and the moisture on the inside. Thinking of making one

30 extra high---ya know I noticed that! I put him in my 125 gal last nite & Really calmed down. Guess the bigger fish put him in his place :happyfish

I keep 2 spotted cardinals in there to keep the system going while I have no fish QT'd in in it. Just bot the strawberry basslett & a yellow watchman goby & put them in there too. I didn't think that was too much for a 20 gal temporary home till I put them in my 125 gal?

I put a strawberry basslett in my QT tank w/2 cardinals & my new watchman goby. Noticed the watchmans tail looks like it has been picked on. Could it be the strawberry basslett? anyone have one? Are they very dominant?

color looks real good although I did notice a tiny bit of stringy stuff coming off of a rock close to it. What does that mean?
