I want to get some Maiden's Hair to add some color to the tank and also see if my Clown might host it. Currently my el cheapo bulb is a 24" Power-Glo 20w, my hood only has room for 1 bulb Would I need to upgrade my bulb in order to have it survive? It is fairly close to a window and sunlight...

Thanks guys, I got rid of the Damsel so I have 3 fish in there now. I currently have a 25w 50/50 fluorescent, the hood only has room for 1 bulb. What do you recommend as far as macro algae for that type of setup?

Hmmm now im thinking which one to get... I will definately need a heater regardless and will definately want some lps.

BUT if I did get a protein skimmer maybe 1 water changer per 2 weeks? Thats what I do now with my 30 gallon FOWLR and haven't had any issues yet.

ROFL I will sick my wife on you once I tell her why I need to buy now. ;) All right so I am set on the Biocube 14 gal, I very much think I am going to need a heater. Also, probably going to add a shrimp/goby pair and maybe a clown pair, with probably 10 nass's. Sound good or too much load for it?

I am really interested in purchasing a Nano tank for my desk at work. I am thinking either the 12 Gal Nano Cube or the 14 Gal Biocube. To my understanding everything is included as far as filtration and heating is concerned. What would I need to purchase for either or these systems in order...

Do cleaner shrimp help prevent ICH?

That is what I thought, but with being new I thought I could also be missing something. I will be content with what I have. The damsel is looking very rough after being constantly harassed by the biocolor.

I have a 30 Gal FOWLR with:1 Coral Beauty 1 Clown 1 Dottyback (very mean only bothers Damsel though) 1 Damsel 1 Cleaner Shrimp 1 Emerald Crab 10 Hermies 25 lbs Live Rock 10 lbs Live Sand Rapids Pro Ps3 Heater Standard 50/50 20w Fluorescent bulb Test every other day with 0's across the board...

It's only a 30 gallon, I have 10 Hermies and 1 cleaner shrimp... I will probably just remove it. Thanks!

I looked in my tank this morning and was shocked when I saw my emerald upside down on the bottom... then I saw him crawling around with a very pretty color. I was relieved. :) I am assuming I should remove the molt?
