I knew a guy outside of Tampa who died from swallowing a little bit of salt water. Ok so he was about 5 miles out in the Gulf when his boat tipped. But still the same it got him.
Caulerpa does grow faster. But it has (whats the right word) little feelers that grabs on to things and is a pain to remove. I ended up feeding it all to my FoxFace and going with Chaeto.

Yup thats what I have. The LFS said it's called a purple green shoom. Feed it a lil froze brine once a week.
Ok and are you bringing all that water back with you????If not I'd keep at least 20 gals of that water and put them in a QT tank with that water. While you put the tank thru a cycle.
