Put the rock into a bucket or Q/T tank. Put some different foods in there and see what it eats.

I take it you dont need 100 more shrimp in there. Ask your LFS if they want to buy them. Or give/trade/sell them here. Last option treat your fish to some live food.

They are night feeders. I feed mine at around 10pm. Mine eats Mysis shrimp.

That would depend on how much open area you have. I have a lil less then 1/2 the sand bed showing. And I have 15 Nass's. Thats in a 55 long tank.
