    How do you frag?

Green star polyps are actually qite easy to frag. If you look closely at them, you will see that there is actually 'branches' that encrust the rock- these branches can be cut with a razorblade and then carefully lifted off the rock. These bracnches can then be glued with super glue (gel works...

    Tap Water Filter for sale

This filter is OK, as long as your water impurities are ok. I have one that i used at first, but we have city water- and WAY high phosphate level-- couldn't get enough out. I still have mine, bought a replacement filter and used it for about 30 gallons. I'd be willing to get rid of mine for...

    How fast do Zooanthids/Polyps grow?

IMO DTs is the best, as it is live plankton, but not always available at your LFS. I have to drive to rochester for it, no one stocks in here in Buffalo that I have found. In a pinch, i use Kents phytoplex.

what to do with live rock covered in hair algae

Hair algae can be a pain in the back side. I FINALLY got rid of all mine, but it did take some work. The first thing- stop using tap water. I will echo everyone else here-- use RO/DI. A lot of people don't realize that if you live in a city, the water company treats the water by ADDING...
