the grid i'm talking about is a separate piece that's about the size of a quarter (a bit larger, not much), and goes into the flow nozzle. is anyone familiar with what i'm talking about?

just bought a HK and opened the box and found it was missing the fish-grid. so do i really need this piece, or can i just put to flow nozzle on and be done with it? thanks

my hermits and snails are in my display. just scarlets, and some blue-legged hermits. snails are nassarius and astra (sp?).

thanks. it's in a 55-gal, and with only three fish, well two now. when the first jumped, there was only a pair of clowns. now there was two clowns, and a cardinal fish. would the peppermint shrimp spook it out of the tank. i fed them yesterday, and it looked fine. when i last saw it today...
