but on the other hand......alot of ppl do mix big fish and lots of them with sps....look at Brooklyn Johny's tank...he has many of his rare fish in there including a very healthy and large regal and a few tangs......but he probaly knows that he is sacrificing some color and growth by keeping...

Badkharma- do you speak from experience????.......i think anyone trying to keep an sps dominate tank should consitrate on keeping the sps as colorful as possible........having to feed a 12" Sailfin is going to produce a ton of phosphate....and on top of it the sailfin is going to release a ton...

well i tested them and they seemed pretty well blended at the surface of the water....there was a small line of blue and a small line of yellow.....but ones it hits the rock it should be totally blended..........kip what is the height of that tank you drew??????? oh and i am going to lower them...

any side effects.....i would probaly use kalk paste instead of lemon juice....'cause of the acidity of lemon juice concentrate Brad

i couldn't make a way to blow the air at the water.....the fans don't rotate..........but i should be fine with cooling sense the 55g sumps is in the basement....plus i can add a few fans to that if i need to..... also i may drop them down more.....tonight i am testing to see if the 20k and 10k...

hey i revised the hood do to the height of the lights......bottom of pendant is now 11" off of water and bulbs are about 13-14" off.............the fans will cool alot better now Brad

i think most ppl underestimate how much corals need food...even with sps about 10-25% of there diet is food......i feed mine a live rotifer culture and also phyto (phyto for the leather and clams, and to feed the rotifer culture) Brad

no experience with them but i assume they would.......i wouldn't but one in a sps reef (inles over 200g) cause of the waste issue though.....but thats only if you love your sps color more then the tang Brad

i think the price is worth it if you plan on keeping sps.....if not go with the SE.............. Brad

try a dottyback or a sixline wrasse......i would probaly use dottyback but not always garenente they will eat the pods...but fo sho with the sixline Brad

you do need max light.......anenomes need more light than clams and just as much as sps do.......bubble corals and anenomes are found on dif. parts of the reef ( anenome is higher up)...so they need completely dif lighting.....with 2 X 65 DAYLIGHT BULBS (not actinic) you might be able to keep...

no it won't bother him at all......i don't think zoos can sting inles a coral is touching it...and it shouldn't release compounds to try and kill the cuke......i am not sure i would just watch them closely...you will see signs if either are not doing well Brad

that lighting is absolutely no where near the amount of light you need ofr that anenome....if you are going to listen get rid of the anenome....getting 65w of actinic is going to do nothing actinic lights hardly have any par ............your going to have to use the money for the 125 to pay for...
