yea its the same as phosban......but i think it is jsut how you use it......if changed every month and not to much used then it seems to work very well.........i use about 150g of the media in a reactor and change every month......also i run 16oz of carbon that i change every two weeks Brad

i agree with you that 20k aren't actinics....but they provide the sort of glow and blue spectrum that actinics do.......I would never run the Aqualines I have alone because they are very very blue when powered by HQI (and are double ended)......they are very close to actinics but do not quite...

for sps corals actinic (20k) make them look alot better Brad

mine (Aqualine bulbs on HQI ballast and PFO DE pendant) come out to be a very light blue look......something like a 12k to a 14k bulb...............best color i think one can achieve..... I will post pics in a few weeks Brad
