    Which Heater?

I was looking at the stealth as well. Should I go for total water volume or just the tank for the most accuracy? About how close is your temp to what you have it set as?

    Which Heater?

I have a 46gal bowfront tank with a 10-15gal sump. My current heater bumped up the temp to 82 and is stuck on even though I have it on the lowest setting at the moment... I'm going to stay up all night to keep an eye on the temp and go tomorrow to buy a new heater... Which brand do you suggest...

    Green Stylo-Polyp Extension

Ok, I started to raise the temp and nothing really, but now my heater freaked out and decided to heat it to about 82 so I turned it all the way down hoping it can keep it at about 76-80ish. Tomorrow I'm going to buy another heater because I've never really liked this one. It doesn't even have...

    Acro Bugs!!! Help Asap Please!!!

    Circulating Chaeto?

I have some chaeto in my fuge that is really looking nasty. Some stuff is growing over it and it looks disgusting. Should I maybe add a small powerhead into the fuge to let it get some circulation? If so, what size should I get as it's a very small area. The sump is about 15gal but the fuge...

    Green Stylo-Polyp Extension

    Green Stylo-Polyp Extension

I just checked and the pH is a bit low... about 7.9-8.0 range... I have some pH buffer, but I don't really know how to dose it. I know I'd have to put it in topoff. It says to use 1 tsp for every 10 gallons daily, but would that raise it too much? The brand is SeaBuffer... do you guys have...

    Teaching to Host?

my corals are too big and attached to the rockwork to put them in a bag with them, but I'll try to picture method. Couldn't hurt. While watching them last night, it looked like they might have been rubbing against my mushroom bed? Now, they're just swimming along, not really paying attention...

    Green Stylo-Polyp Extension

There's nothing too close to it that could possibly be hurting it. The closest thing is a monti cap which I don't think would hurt it, and it's a couple inches away. My lighting schedule has been the same although I did change the bulbs in August... They're the same kelvin bulbs though...

    Teaching to Host?

Hello, I just got a pair of ORA Occelaris clowns (one orange-the female, and one black misbar-the male). They're already a pair so I don't have to worry about that. The only thing I really want is for them to host. I don't have an anemone, but I have a frogspawn, torch, hammer, and duncans...

    Green Stylo-Polyp Extension

I've had an ORA Green Stylophora for a good 8 months now. At first, it had really long polyp extension and amazing colour. Now, although it has grown significantly, the polyp extension isn't as long or beautiful as it once was... My params are ideal: 0 Amm 0 Trites 0 Trates 0 Phates 450 Calc...

Suggestions for a 46 gal office fish only tank

I would definitely get a pair of clowns, maybe a pair or firefish, a pygmy angel such as a flame or coral beauty angel and a pair of cleaner shrimp... yes, i'm partial to pairs but it looks nice! =D
