double saddleback.. letting them eat anenomes?

Why didn't you heat the qt tank? Condy's can handle relatively cool temps. Have seen them in the bahamas in february when the water temp is around 70 degrees. Pics would be cool.

    Help!

Did you put your hands in the tank with maybe moisturizer or soap on them. Cloudy water is usually from that or the substrate getting kicked up. Did your skimmer go nuts? If it did then there was a foreign substance introduced to the tank. What about Caulerpa? Do you keep any of that? Can go...

    Purpleback Pseudochromis

If the target is always one fish and it is repeated I agree it can be come an issue. But from having a psuedocromis for this long now I doubt it will go to the point of that level of stress. I have a tomato who spends his hole day chasing fish. All of them. This has been going on for years but...

    Purpleback Pseudochromis

Yes they are pretty aggressive little buggers but can't really do any damage. I have had one going on 4 years now and he darts out of the rock to nip a fin then goes back but never to the point of death. A little cat and mouse in a tank is not so bad and will probably always be there but if you...

New Gold banded Maroon and Humma humma addition

My tomato clown is a nightmare who chases everything in my tank. To bad he has been around so long or he would definately be on his way back. I think tank raised are worse than ocean caught. I have had both and my tank raised is way nastier. Probably because they grow up in small tanks with a...

Do more saltwater fish have teeth compared to freshwater fish

Check out harleys avatar and that should be all you need to know. Full grown queen triggers look like nosforatu. And yes large clown fish have nasty chiclets.

Had 5 blue damsels, now I have 2 why did that do that!

Did they just disappear or did you find them dead? Even if you thought they got along most nasty fighting is done at night when their trying to fight for a space to hide. In a small tank I would never recommend them however they are great fish for larger tanks.

double saddleback.. letting them eat anenomes?

Well IMO with a 125 and a decent skimmer there is very little chance of tank wipe out. And I am assuming she does not have any real sensitive corals in her tank since she has a butterfly in it. I have not kept butterflies but I would think that if they do not get natural diet which is corals and...

    Mixing Dwarf Angels

No sweat in a 150g. I have a yellow and rusty and they hardly ever run into each other. When they do theres a little cat and mouse and then on they go. It's usually the rusty who's the cat but then again he is 5 years old. I even introduced the yellow year after the rusty was in. This is the...

double saddleback.. letting them eat anenomes?

how big is your tank? Big enough tank wouldn't be wiped out. I have a 150g and lost 2 condy's. Good skimmer and you should be fine. Nothing wrong with a little natural food.

    140g super low budget build...

Nice setup. I wonder what the purpose of one hole drilled in the side was. Maybe to connect a tank. Either way looks like it should be a nice setup.

    Emperor angelfish

My lunar does not bother any one currently in the tank but seems to have a problem with new additions. However I am not sure totally if he was being aggressive towards the emperor or picking off parasites from him. Since I never see aggression towards anything else I am beginning to believe he...

    4" Lunar Wrasse for $5 should I?

Nice addition and looks like you got a super male too! Very entertaning fish. Mine chases his own tail, dive bombs the sand and just stops and lays down for no apparent reason. Like you stated I also like the fact they go right to eating as soon as they hit the tank. Mine ate within 20 minutes...

    Emperor angelfish

There was a guy who documented his emporer's change on the -- site. It was updated every couple months for 2 years and his had only have changed in that time. He fed 2-3 times a day a mixture of food including sponge and was not convinced it would ever fully changed. Didn't look promising. I...
