ya i just threw in some mysis shrimp and the cardinals seemed to like it.

and during that three weeks u need to remove all of your fish from the display tank inorder for the parasite to completely die out. if theres no fish then the ick does not have a host and thus dies.

i hate ss stars i had 5 and all of them died one by one. waste of money.

i used to test every week (calcium, phosphates, nitrites, ammonia, Ph, and alkalinity). now that my tanks cycled for a year now i usually only test before water changes and if something looks wrong. however i test calcium weekly in the ever strugling battle to keep my calcium where it should be.

ive tried feeding them some flakes like all the other fish eat but the cardinals will sometimes suck on in and then spit it out. will they eventually eat the flakes if i keep feeding them flakes? or do i have to feed like brine or something?

if u get a perfecto tank or any other without tempered glass at the bottom u can drill the holes yourself.

try adding a little iodine every week also its good to add phyto plankton(since they are filter feeders).
