    Attaching Corals??

I tried super glue gel, but the piece is so big that doesn't hold it. I saw NMReef's tank and it looks like he used a type of epoxy/putty. I do not know, just trying to get an idea. BTW, the stuff I got said for aquamarine use, but I think it is referring to boats and the like. Keep a reefin'...

    Attaching Corals??

I finally got an orange monti cap over the weekend and I need to attach it to the LR in my tank. I bought some epoxy puddy from Loctite. Is this stuff reef safe? Does anyone know what to look for that might make a product such as this not reef safe. Any suggestions would be great. Keep a...

Bad lucks just going to follow me

Your tank is still young. No need for any drastic changes, like buying more equipment. Let the LMB and snails do their thing for a while. Keep check on all of your levels. Keep doing your water changes with RODI water at the rate your going at. The algea will go away. Mine did the same...

A clam will die w/o enough lighting. That is their main food source. Please stick with softies since they will do the best and also look the best under those lighting conditions.

Thanks, bigarn. Niether of those were photoshopped in any way, but yet the coloration of the tank is so much different and more natural looking now. BTW, the tank is about nine months old.

    Coral Update with Pics.

This is probably a lame post, but I just took some pics for the aquarium of the month threads and noticed how much two of my first corals have grown in only two to three months. My lights went out before I could capture my star polyps but tomorrow they will be posted as well. For now my brain...

    Trigger in a Reef

I have a pinktail trigger in mine and so far so good. I think he is developing an appetite for my hermits though. I also keep mine well fed, which I feel helps.
