the best way would be to make your water change water like 37ppt and then like 35 the next time and bring it down slowly.

I believe the kent brand says to not leave it in for more than 48 hrs not sure though. I recomend rowaphos because you don't have to worry about the phosphates leaching back in.

I have a aqua C remora on my 20 and love it.

Basically ppl don't scrape it off the back is one it grows like crazy and is hard to scrape off. And two the coraline algae looks alot better than green or brown algae, because most tanks are against walls which make it a little harder to clean the back wall. just my opinion.
