thanks..I did noticed a little brown crab that was a hitchhiker on live rock I got hanging out right next to it. Will they nibble also?

Just got some mushrooms from ---- yesterday. Small red ones with blue dots and a tonga. This morning I woke up and it seems like someone has been nibbling on the tonga. Scarlet,Blue Leg, Zebra crabs? Peppermint shrimp?

one of my tanks is nearing the end of the cycle and I just noticed these little white critters also. I mean..really tiny.

I set up a 20 high tank for seahorses only. I used the sand from home depot and I put a couple of pcs of live rock from my existing tank. My question is would a Millenium 2000 filter be acceptable for this tank?

I never started a new SW tank. I bought mine already set up. It will be a 20g seahorse only tank. I've got the sand in, a couple of pcs of live rock and I put a few frozen krill in to start the process. Using an existing filter that was on my other tank. My question is when should I start to see...

I'm thinking of doing the same thing. I dont know if I missed it somewhere. When can you put the fish & inverts back in after you change the sand?

I am starting another sw tank. I have a bunch of frozen krill in the freezer..my oscars dont really like it. Can I put some of them in my tank to cycle instead of a raw shrimp?

I'm starting another SW tank. It will be 20g with seahorses. My question is, I've seen colored sand in my LFS..green, black,red, etc. Is this stuff ok to use? Other than it not looking natural, is it safe?

I have been on ---- looking for a protien skimmer. HELP! I have a 40G. Are hang on's ok? I really do not want to put anything in the tank. I have one of those Skilter filter/skimmer things but I dont see that thick frothy stuff you guys talk about.

I friend of mind told me I shouldnt scrape the algea off the back or side glass. "Its good for the tank" Is this true or is he blowing smoke you know where?
