That's a great price for a dwarf. The firefish would but eaten, when it happens depends on the size of the eel. Remember that dwarfs have slender bodies and can escape through most egg crate, netting would make a better top if you get one.

In all honesty, wait until you have a larger tank.

Tigger pods live in coldwater and do not reproduce well in our warm tanks. They're great for live feedings albeit an expensive treat. An easier solution would be to get a clump of chaeto from an established fuge and wait. If you would rather buy pods, tisbe pods will live/breed in warm tanks...
