How often should I have to add buffer?

If you check the archive section of this site there are some helpful articles on the relation between Alkalinity, pH, Calcium, Magnesium. Read those and it will give a better understanding.

    Help

The pH drop is due to the non movement of the water so there was a loss of oxygen in the water thus drops the pH. One thing that keeps the pH up is movement of the water. When your pump stopped the water stopped moving and oxygen depleted. The biggest immediate issue when the pump is off is...

    eco aqualizer

The subject of this aqualizer has been worn out on the forum. They are junk and a really good way to throw your money away for sure. Kind of like a bad LFS

    sulfur denitrator

The only downside I saw is that you have to aerate the effluent before it goes into your tank since it will have the O2 removed in the process. The drip rate is the most important thing. Make sure you follow the directions to the tee if it is a Midwest Aquatics DeNitrator. They have really good...

    UniQuarium Product Help

I have a 90 gallon Uniquarium and I really like it. Just make sure you understand that everything that would normally be a refugium sump is part of the back of the tank so You have to have a way to get to it from either the back or the top. I get to mine from a step ladder and work from the top...

    Drilling Live Rock !?!

Well I wouldn't use a drill meant for wood or metal. You can get a carbide bit and run water on it while drilling so it doesn't get to hot. If the rock is mostly calcite (from corals) it should go through it pretty easily but there is probably rock there to so just take it slow. I do lapidary...

    Drilling Live Rock !?!

It should hold it but would depend on the weight or what kid of stress you put it under. Also, any of the super glues is good also the super glue gel is what I used, works great.
