well, don't worry about studies,,, they always conflict one another imo garlic is a very strong anti ox....... so while it will not get rid of ick, it will boost the fish's immune system imo..... its common sense..... maybe it dosen't but my fish are all super healthy and i never got ick again...

hmmmmmmmmmmm.................. so is it that the people who manage to keep their fish alive in smaller tanks have better water quality and know what they are doing :thinking: and is it that the ones with bigger tanks are getting away w/ it because the water quality is easy to keep in check...

true i'll keep an update, never ran any meds and i use an ro unit.. i also use the drip method, i hope he is hiding! i have a yellow goby, clown goby two percs, hippo all small.....

wait it out w/o a doubt! that is way too much trouble for 8 months, espicially w./ a tank that size/// but when u move a tank, put all the fish in buckets w/ their water, empty all the water into other buckets, empty live rock, move the tank, put eveything back, slowly not disturbing the sand...

Well, I know we always talk about what fish needs what size tank..... How come at most lfs you see large hippo, angel, tangs, etc, in small tanks such as 20 gallon and i've see them in there for months at a time till sold.. now don't get me wrong i agree that fish need their specific size tanks...

would a uv sterilizer prevent this? i just sold mine, lol
