Hey bbreaux1 I had the same issue all I did was grab a small book like a kids book that was about the same size of the prizm skimmer and prop it between the skimmer and the back of the tank then I was able to screw in the skimmer no problem. Hope this helps. P.S. my wife was looking for the...

I also have a berlin airlift protien skimmer on my 2 month tank. I had set it at the water level mark and the bubbles are not reaching the top of the collection cup. I have a Renascence 4000 pump on it at full. The skimmer has been runing for over a week. What am i doing wrong? Is the tank so...

Thanks for the advice I was thinking of starting with a small Huma and then after it grew it would give me an excuse to get a bigger tank. ;)
