    post pic of your dogs!!

Amazing the number of boxers. You'd think briefs (play on words) would go more with reefers

    why is Aiptasia bad?

Different animals have different ways of multiplying. In the case of aptasia they can spread throughout the tank in different places. I guess it's some kind of spore release or something. At the end of the day, regardless of 'how' they do it, they will spread like crazy. I know they look cool...

Can I Get A Trashcan For Topoff Water???

I've used them for years. I do have pumps keeping the water moving and thermometers to keep the water at a good temp. Most recommend rubbermaid.

Ok, I give up, bubbles in sand

Ah, now that changes things a bit. As you probably know algea is a plant that consumes co2 and respirates o2. What you are probably seeing is 02 being released from the algea. One way to check is to look at the tank just after the lights come on. Are the bubbles there? Then check towards the...

    Gonopora

There was a great article from reef keeping on the efficacy of DT oyster eggs and goniopora. I tried, I failed. Felt terrible about it. A very hard coral to keep. Good Luck!

    A good schooling fish?

I personally like blue green chromis. It's a bit of luck to get ones that make it. As damsels they should be hardy but I've had both good and luck with them.

    Is my mushroom doomed?

Exactly. Mushrooms will release themselves if they don't like where they are. I have some that are growing in places that I would never have thought they'd be happy with. Since they don't have legs it's they're only way to move. Unfortunately it sounds like it found a place different than...

    40g Setup

I'm not familiar with a 75 normal flourescent bulb so I can't comment. The largest I've seen for normal flourescent for aquarium use is a 48" 40 watt. Is it a T5 bulb?

    40g Setup

Feather dusters are filter feeders so they don't care about light. The feather is the feeding mechanism for the worm that inhabits the tube. As for lighting, since your goal is fowlr the light is only for your enjoyment. The fish don't care. Go with what looks pleasing to you.

Ok, I give up, bubbles in sand

Could be the end of the nitrogen cycle (a good thing). In a deep sand bed set up the nitrates deep within the sand bed turn to nitrogen gas. This can be released and you'll see the nitrogen bubbles rise to the surface. If you're sure the bubbles are coming from below the sand then that's my...

    chili coral

DT's is referring to phytoplankton. Brand name. Your LFS should know about them. I don't know about the size of DT phyto and chili's but if it's true they need something smaller then another option is DT's oyster eggs. They're even smaller. Most people make sure their chili's stay in an...
