Thanks for all your post, but it didn't make it over the night

It has only started going down in the live sand for about 3 minutes or so, the starfish is not that big, its probably only 1 inch from tip to tip.

Right now its sinking into the sand, should I get it out and try and feed it?

All I have for food is flakes, brine shrimp, plakton, and mysis which should I use?

How many Tangs who you put in a fish only tank at about 55 gallons? Or would you not recommend any at 55 gallons? Any input would be great!
