I just bought a purple lobster from one on my LFS, and it is not shy at all!! He hangs out at the front of his cave and also wanders all over the tank. Hasnt done anything except run my fuzzy dwarf lionfish out of the rockwork.:D

well thanks to SWF members for the quick replies on newbie board, It was identified as a Cirolanid isopod. Caught the Mandarin in a net and removed the little parasite to an empty bowl to die in MISERY. :D :D :D :D :D Joker

IMO get your salinity right and put your other sand in. when sand settles, add your rock.

i would recomend getting your water tested to be sure that all levels are in sync.
