what type of play sand did u get? i know there are lots of opinions on this but i too used play sand ( i grabbed the cheapest stuff from home depot for 3 dollars per 50lbs) my tank looks fine with it and all parameters are fine.. im happy with my 3 dollar choice.

hey u might want to switch out your crushed coral for some sand. ive heard that blennies cant do their "normal thing" with CC...in addition, sand looks alot better and decreases ur chances of nitr spikes. u got a great stock so far

my large hermit crab with an anemone on its back molted earlier today, however i have no larger replacement shelll for it in the tanl... will the mernit survive the nite withour a replacement shell? how long can they last without a shell?

i just added about 150 lbs and my tank had zero visibility for a day or 2.. just give it time... my tank is crystal clear 5 days later...

my friends have used play sand (white old castle play sand) for their tanks for years and years and never had any problems... they had fowlr tanks as well... how exactly do the problems manifest themself? sincerely
