Tangs love it. LFS says its not easy to grow.(they get theirs shipped in) So probably not to good for a fuge.

When all else fails use chemi-clean. It worked for me.

I adjust mine to about 1/2 inch above the bottom of the funnel. Give it a few days and will work nice. I will e mail you with more info.

Yes you should get one. Other wise you will not know how well it is filtering. I dont think your source water is the root of your problem. What do you feed your fish?

About three weeks ago I bought 3 emerald crabs. A week later one of them died. I replaced it and then another week goes by and another dies. My water quality good and I have plenty of algae. I only have a small clown and damsel in the tank along with some hermits and snails. What could be happening?
