I was just wondering if I would be able to keep hard corals, clams, and a anemone in a 18 gallon with dimensions= 20x10 1/2x17 with a running total of 130w pc's 2x65. and if I can should I place them high in the tank. thanks.

sounds like its a florida condi anenome. mines does the same, from what i have read, they tend to be in shaded areas with low light but if it needs more it should move on its own.

i have a 20g with about 3-4 inches of sand. as far as the species they advertised it as a white sleeper or sleeker gobie its all white with 3 light blue spots on the gills and has a black tip dorsel. ill try and get pics up.

yeah so I just picked up a gobie for my setup. and im not sure if it just eats by filtering the sand, as I seen it do, or does it need any other type of diet. I feed my maroon pellets but im not sure the gobie will go for it. thanks.

i had luck in hosting a maroon with a condi. and this was today within 3 hrs of introducing the condi.

i have recently picked up a orbit setup for my tank and its totally worth it. its pc lighting though so if you plan on getting anenomes then you should probably go with the Nova t5's or halids. but for shrooms and other coral that dont require heavy lighting then go with the orbits. ill pm you...

does anyone have experience with a penguin 200 hangon bio filter. I am torn between getting the penguin or a fluval. any input would be greatly appreciated.

awsome! im going through an ich issue right now so im focusing on a mini reef to kill time but yeah, plan on getting a skimmer as well as a uv sterilizer.

I know that on a different site, it says that fluvals are fish only filters. but has anyone had success with one in a reef tank. and if possible please recomend a filtration system. thanks!
