Well my clown is now rubbing up on my mushrooms. I am just afraid that they are going to bother my shrooms now like my frogspawn. Will a frogspawn get used to it? I had a torch but they didn't go near it.

Can someone give me a list of corals or inverts that clowns can succesfully host. Asking as I don't think my frogspawn cares for being hosted. Will a toadstool work? Will a BTA have enough lighting with 2x110 vho in a 100 gallon? I have MH but I just don't want to turn them back on.

I know how to mix salt and I use Oceanic or Tropic Marine when I use salt. Catalina water is natural ocean water and I am questioning if anyone who uses it adds anything to it....like trace elements or anything like that. Thanks for your input.

I just started using this and I want to know if any of you who actually use it dose your tank with anything? I currently do not dose my tank at all so I am wondering about changing to this type of water if I need to.

I know this thread is old, but I wanted to also say that this water is from Catalina Water company. It has nothing to do with ***** Co, except that they now carry Catalina Water. I've used it once and I may try a few more times before I make my final decision. But I like how easy it is for sure

I had some hermits in a 2.5 gallon for some time. Just do a water change every other day or every 3 days and you should be fine. I got rid of it because the maintenance was so often. I have seen lots of folks do very small tanks. You will find many many opinions on this and lots of other issues.

The only way you can assure that your salinity is correct is with a refractometer. Your salinity definately went up if you were out of town. I myself have done the hypo treatment and you have to stay on top of it for sure. I also did water changes every couple of days just to make sure that...

How can I get these out? Is there some sort of trap or something to catch snails? There are TONS of these things everywhere. I see them mostly when lights are off.

Hi all! Been a while since I posted. I have a ton of these baby snails all over the tank. I see them mostly after the MH go off and just the actinics are on. They look like baby turbos to me but thought I'd ask as a while back all my zoas were disappearing (I only have 2 polyps left) So...

If I'm not mistaken the gobies can't sift the cc cause it is to big for their gills. The cc will eventually be on top cause the sand will settle. IMO I would also get rid of the cc and go w/ sand. When I did mine, I just used dead sand and let the lr seed it.
