    Coraline Algae

I have heard that coraline algae is a good thing. It has covered the back wall of our 29 gal biocube which I am fine with. However, it is starting to grow in the curved glass front corners of the tank. It is difficult to scrub off. Any suggestions on how to keep it in check would be appreciated...

    salinity spike

I have been traveling quite a bit over the last month or so. I have been doing water changes but have not been as diligent with the water testing as I usually am. I did a water change last weekend before leaving on a trip. I returned yesterday and the tank looked OK. This evening when I got home...

    New here 29G Bio Cube

Sounds like you are off to a pretty good start. My limited experience has taught me that finding 8 fish that can get along in a tank our size is going to be tough. Also, we didn't have any luck with an anenome in our tank but you might. I think the key is to keep the water changed regularly and...

    ? about work ethic

I'd get another company to come out and fix it right. Sounds like there is too much resistance when trying to raise the door. I'd rather get it done right and then just tell everybody i know that the original company does bad work and has no customer service.

Need help to keep fish from going into filter area of Biocube!!!

I run the water level to where the water just barely goes over the top of the back wall. Enough to keep the scum off the surface but not enough to wash anything over. I have had snails crawl over the wall and a yellow watchman jumped over one time but my clowns stay in the front

Going to the atlanta aquarium... anyone been?

Team2, My opinion is that the aquarium is much nicer than the zoo. We went to the aquarium on a sunday morning when it opened and it wasn't too bad. The reef section is what inspired us to get a salt water aquarium. Last time I went to the zoo it was pretty lame. There may be better aquariums...

    reef safe angels?

For what it's worth we are on our second ( first one was killed by a six line psycho wrasse ) cherub angel in our 29 gal biocube. i haven't noticed them ever doing any damage to the corals we have. They like to swim around and pick at the rocks constantly so I can see where if they develop a...

    Thoughts on Sally light foots

We had one in our 29 gal biocube and it did a great job of mowing down some hair algae. However we think it got a small yellow clown goby. It actually looked out of place in our little tank because everything else was small. She eventually trapped herself in the middle chamber in the back and I...

    Geometric pygmy hawk

Anyone have experience with these. I have one reserved at the lfs. Will pick him up this afternoon. I have read that they are not really hawkfish but Anthias and that they act and look more like hawks hence the name. Also read that they are good in smaller tanks. I have a 29 gal biocube. Sounds...

    sixline wrasse/ clownfish compatability

My experience with a sixline was that he got along fine with everybody in a 29 gal biocube at first and then after about three months went psycho and started killing tankmates and anything new we tried to add. It was a bummer because he was one of our favorites. I finally took him out and...
