    Muriatic Acid burns.

The MSDS for Muriatic Acid is below: http://hazard.com/msds/f2/btb/btbjb.html By OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations your place of work should have an MSDS on site and in an accessible location for all chemicals that can be encountered at your workplace. The first...

    What to buy...370z or RX-8

Can you drop the extra cash on the Infinity G37 coupe or a used Infinity G35 coupe? They are mechanically the same car as the 370z/350z, just the infinitys have a back seat. I have a friend who bought a used Infinity G35 coupe and absolutly loves it. It would cost you more, but you would be...

Moving 100 gallon FOWLR and sand

Humm... 2 inches of sand is not a deep sand bed, so i think you will be ok with using the same sand and rock. I assume that you are going to be moving the minimum amount of water and mixing more when you get to your destination? if this is the case, when you get to your new house just keep...

    Help with first saltwater aquarium?

First off, how do you plan on running your set up? are you going to set up a sump below your tank? Are you going to use all hob (hang on back) equipment? I suggest using some live rock in your tank, the Moray eel is an ambush predator who's natural habitat is within the cracks and crevices of...

    Relocating Aquarium

The bags might be better if you move your tank in stages, because the bags will allow you to temp accumulate and if need be accumulate to the new tank water. I am used to moving my tank all at once, so i usually just split my fish between one or two buckets.

    Relocating Aquarium

Since you only have 2 clowns at the moment, I would suggest downsizing to a 20 long or tall. 20 gal is sufficient for most clown species and it would be less water for you to haul back and forth. You can take your rock and water and put it in 5 gal buckets and either move some of your sand in...

    2 Important Questions

If you have a "good" LFS in your area, they might babysit your live stock for a few weeks and ship your animals out to you. I am sure they wouldn't take any liability for your animals but it would give you time to move your tank and get it set back up.

    Relocating Aquarium

Since you are going to university, are you going to be living on campus? If so, you are going to need to find out what the size limit is for fish tanks in the dorm. You also need to know if it is one of the schools that requires students to move out over winter break, if so you are going to be...

    Algae overload!

I would suggest that you turn your lights down an hour to see if that slows some of the growth. Can you remove some of the rock during a water change and scrub the algae in your water that you are taking out of the tank? Then you wouldn't be pulling the algae off in your tank.

    Algae overload!

What are your water paramaters? How long are you lights on a day? Is your tank somewhere where it gets natural light? What is your livestock, and what/how much/how often do you feed?

    Tank Cracked...

Well Will, I guess you will be getting the 40 gal tank that you were talking about the other day a lot sooner than you expected. I'm sorry about your tank, and the big mess. Did you manage to check your heater and power head to see if they still worked? They may not have been out of water...

    Nina&Noah!!! Aerogarden question

I have seen the seeds at Bed Bath and Beyond and seed kits for the aerogarden 6 at Kholes. I have in the past also picked up seeds at Sears, but i didn't see them the last time I was there. I would think your best bet would be a Bed Bath and beyond or possibly linens and things.

    Anemone and power head

I had this happen about 2 months ago. It will take a few weeks for it to get back to normal as long as you maintain good water quality. I would also keep it somewhere where the anemone gets a little flow. Not a lot, but a little bit to help it get itself untangled. Also keep an eye on it, in...

    Nina&Noah!!! Aerogarden question

A set number of nutrient tablets come with the kits, and if you garden lasts longer than your nutrients you can order more from Aerogrow. The instructions say to move your hands through the plants for ten to 15 seconds a day once they start flowering. I ended up individually pollinating the...

    Nina&Noah!!! Aerogarden question

I have an aerograden 7, or classic I am not sure what they are calling now. Mine Works really well, and I have had a lot of success with the kits. I have grown the Italian Herb seed kit and the Salsa garden seed kit. After the plants sprout you will have to pick out the strongest plants and...

    Sfe

The absolute minimum i would do would be a 30, but that could get cramped for the SFE, I would say a 45gal tank would be a good starting point. I've seen Snowflake eels reach about 18 to 24 inches, so I would say if you had something more than 40 gallons your eel would have plenty of space to...

    Starting a small tank?

Not only that, a 10 gallon takes a lot of effort to maintain an anemone. Just evaporation alone in a 10gal causes significant swings salinity. A saltwater tank isn't something you can just throw together, it should be cycled before you add fish, and must be established for about 6 months and...
